Many people don't realise this, alot of vendors deal in cash ! That's right. Leave the plastic at home ladies... By paying them in cash, they often waive taxes, or offer you an additional discount. Plus, they don't have to pay the evil VISA a deductable, out of their pocket. So when they ask for a deposit in cash, or cheque, don't fret, it's fairly normal.
