Whether you plan to get married in a church, synagogue, or at a private location, make sure you are aware of any restrictions and rules regarding your wedding ceremony. Local churches and synagogues may require you and your fiancee to be part of that congregation. They may have certain rules as to which music can or should be played, the way the service is performed, the decorations used, and other specific restrictions. Some churches will even require you to take premarital counselling sessions. Make sure you provide your ceremony site representative a detailed step by step guide as to what you want your ceremony to look like. The pastor, wedding officiant, or ceremony representative will inform you of any parts that may be a problem.
