Bridesmaids Responsibilites

When choosing your bridesmaids, make sure you choose friends who are responsible and work well with others. Guys can also be bridesmaids, otherwise known as bridesmen. Your bridesmaids will have many challenging tasks so make sure they know what those tasks are before they willingly accept the responsibility. Keep in mind that being a bridesmaid will carry extra costs for your friends and letting them know that before they accept the honor will help avoid any misunderstandings.

  • Provide emotional support to bride

A bridesmaid may host a bridal shower or bachelorette party, but it is not mandatory. Hosting the bridal shower and bachelorette party falls mainly on the maid of honor (MOH). Bridesmaids help in the planning process.
