2008 Wedding Color Trend

Yellow, the color of sunshine, joy and happiness, has been forecast as the wedding color of 2008. It produces a warming effect and arouses cheerfulness so it is the perfect color for a happy occasion.

Orange and chocolate brown have been popoular in 2007 and will continue to thirive in 2008. Mixing the different shades of yellows, oranges, and deep browns, although not necessarily all together, can produce beautiful wedding colors.

A monochromatic theme will also fall into the 2008 trend. By combining two shades of orange with a yellow color will compliment eachother nicely. Consider using yellow with white, but be aware that yellow tends to disappear into white so a darker color may be needed to highlight it. Bright and citrus shades of yellow with pale yellow or white and accents of green can be perfect for summer weddings. Use deep shades of yellow, orange, and brown for fall weddings.
